MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 432-348 BC. AR Tetradrachm (13.76 g, 1h). Struck circa 420-410 BC. Laureate head of Apollo left, with short hair / Kithara; small E on left upright, uncertain letter on right upright. Unpublished. Good VF, lightly toned, a little porous, light cleaning marks.

This unpublished issue shares some stylistic affinities with Robinson & Clement groups E-G, but the style of the obverse is distinctly different, particularly in the rendering of Apollo’s hair and wreath, and none of the published reverses have a small E on either upright of the kithara.
