KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.09 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. Struck circa 323-280 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, forepart of Pegasos left above monogram in circle; monogram in circle below throne. Unpublished in the standard references. Good VF.
