KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.10 g, 7h). Uncertain mint. Struck circa 323-280 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field. Unpublished in the standard references. VF, lightly toned, area of flat strike on obverse.
