KINGS of PAEONIA. Patraos. Circa 335-315 BC. AR Tetradrachm (12.46 g, 7h). Damastion mint(?). Laureate head of Apollo right / Warrior on rearing horse right, spearing enemy warrior who defends himself with raised shield; monogram to lower left. Paeonian Hoard 448 (same dies); SNG ANS 1040 var. (same obv. die; no monogram). Good VF, toned, struck from worn obverse die (re-engraved).
