BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 425-395 BC. AR Stater (11.86 g). Boeotian shield / The infant Herakles seated facing, head right, strangling two serpents; bow to left; all within circular incuse. BCD Boiotia 456 (same rev. die). Good VF, even light gray tone, obverse off center, area of minor porosity on obverse. Very rare.
