IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 650-600 BC. EL 1/24 Stater (0.64 g). Milesian standard. Striated type. Flattened striated surface / Incuse square punch with serrated edges. Weidauer -; Traité I 14-15 var. (plain-edged punch); cf. SNG Kayhan 683 (1/48 stater; same rev. punch). VF.

This and the previous lot are from an apparent subvariety of the striated type, which used a reverse punch with serrated edges. Both lots are also struck from the same reverse punch as the Kayhan 1/48 stater.
