BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Hippostratos. Circa 65-55 BC. Æ Square Double Unit (11.71 g, 12h). Zeus-Mithras, nimbate and laureate, seated facing slightly left on throne, holding filleted diadem and sceptre / Horse standing left; monogram before. Bopearachchi Série 10A; cf. SNG ANS 1641-1642 (unit). Good VF, black and brown patina, smoothed. Rare denomination and better than the published examples.
