Octavian. 32-31 BC. AR Denarius (3.73 g, 10h). Italian mint, possibly Rome. Diademed head of Venus right, wearing necklace / Octavian advancing left, extending arm and holding transverse spear. RIC I 251; CRI 397; RSC 70. VF, old gray and iridescent toning, tiny marks on both sides under tone, a minor edge bump, and edge test mark.
