Claudius. AD 41-54. AR Fourrée Denarius (2.66 g, 4h). Romano-British imitation. Imitating Rome mint issue of AD 46-47. Laureate head right / Nemesis walking right, holding out fold of drapery below chin, and holding winged caduceus over serpent before. Cf. RIC I 39; cf. von Kaenel Type 24; cf. RSC 58; cf. CNG 41, 1773 (for a similar Romano-British imitation). EF, light toning, a few tiny nicks on the on the face, very small breaks in plating.
