Valerian I. AD 253-260. AR Antoninianus (4.79 g, 6h). Samosata mint. 2nd emission, circa AD 256-260. Radiate and draped bust right / Valerian and Gallienus standing facing each other, sacrificing over altar between them, one holds an eagle-tipped sceptre, the other a parazonium. RIC V 284; MIR 36, 1684e; RSC 153. Good VF, toned, traces of brick-red deposits.
