Cross crosslet set on pellet on four steps, X at center, • above crescent on shaft; crowned facing busts of Basil, wearing short beard and loros, and Constantine, beardless and draped, each wearing crown topped with cross, on either side / +bASIL´/C CwnSTAn´/PORFVROS´/PISTOI bAS´/RwmAIw´; – (four pellets) – above, – • – below. DOC III 17a; SB 1810. VF, toned, soft strike on obverse. Good metal.
