Isaac I, Comnenus. 1057-1059. AV Tetarteron Nomisma (4.05 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Facing bust of Christ, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels; nimbus with seriffed cross arms, • in cross arms / Isaac, crowned and in military outfit, standing facing, holding globus cruciger and sheathed sword set on ground; crown topped with cross and with pendilia. DOC III 3.3 (same obv. die); SB 1845. Good VF, minor flan flaw on obverse, scrape and graffito in field on reverse.
