ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 710-720/35. AR Sceatta (0.84 g, 12h). Series U, type 23B. Mint near the upper Thames(?). Figure standing facing on crescent, holding two crosses / Bird pecking right. Metcalf 445-446; North 112; SCBC 793. Good VF, toned, minor porosity.
