King standing facing, holding sword and shield, in ship; E on banner at stern, rose on hull, trefoil stops / Rose on sun in center of ornate cross with lis at ends; crowned lions in quarters, small trefoils in spandrels. Blunt & Whitton Type X, var. 2; Webb Ware dies 59/x; Schneider 379 (same obv. die); North 1549; SCBC 1951. Good VF.
