TUDOR. Henry VII. 1485-1509. AR Groat (2.94 g, 9h). Facing bust issue, class IIIc. London mint; mm: pansy (normal/late). Struck 1495-1498. Crowned facing bust in tressure of arches; crown of two arches, outer jeweled (crown 4) / Long cross; trefoils in quarters, cross end 7, saltire stops, ‘coded’ stops 00/00. Cf. SCBI 23 (Ashmolean), 319; North 1705c; SCBC 2199. Good VF, toned, slight die shift on obverse.
