EGYPT. Steatite scarab. New Kingdom, probably 19th Dynasty. Circa 13th-12th century BC. Length 21mm. Carved gray steatite scarab, the base with engraved hieroglyphs- “The Benevolent God, Lord of the Two Lands, Beloved of Amen-Re”. Holed for wearing. Cf. Petrie
