ROMAN. Gold wedding finger ring. Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. Inner diameter 20mm, weight 10.59 g. A heavy gold band, ribbed sides, bezel flanked by volutes. Bezel has a broad frame, with a repoussé
dextrarum iunctio scene, the newlyweds clasping right hands. Good condition, bump on bezel frame. An impressive wedding memento for a well-to-do Roman bride.
