[Oil lamps] GREEK & SYRIA-PALESTINE. Lot of two early pottery oil lamps. Sicily. 5th century BC. Length 10cm. Wheel-made with open discus with central “peak”. Pinkish clay with dark brown slip in interior and around spout // Syria-Palestine. 1st century BC-AD. “Herodian” lamp. Length 8cm. Wheel-made with sharp spatulated spout. Buff colored clay. Good condition, minor chips on the Sicilian piece, the Herodian lamp cracked. Two (2) items in lot.
