ROMAN. Syria-Palestine. Pottery oil lamp. Circa 4th-5th century AD. Length 12.5cm. Mold-formed trilychnos with central motif of a circle of annulets within a wreath. Fill hole on discus, triple nozzles, tab handle impressed with a cross. Pinkish-red colored clay. Choice condition. A rare early Christian motif lamp.
