[Pottery] ROMAN. Rhineland. Pottery “Motto” beaker. Circa 3rd-4th century AD. Height 9cm, diameter at mouth 4.2cm. Beaker with narrow foot, globular body and funnel mouth, made of reddish-pink clay, gray-green slip (probably originally black) with traces of white overpainting and the faint motto AMA ME M[ea]-”Love Me, Mine”. Choice condition, painting and slip faded.
