[Terra-cotta and marble] ROMAN. Marble stele fragment. Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. Marble fragment, probably from a funeral stele, 13cmx16cm. The upper left hand corner of the stele, with plain frame and a mounted cavalryman thrusting with a lance. Made of course-grained white marble. Good condition, heavy calcium deposits.
