[Bronze objects] ROMAN. Bronze figure of an eagle. Circa 1st-2nd century AD. Height 40mm. A three-dimensional model of a standing eagle, with wings folded over the back, beak straining skyward. Strongly molded design of feathers and claws, incised details on wings. Good condition, rough green and brown patina, broken through in spots.
