SICILY, Syracuse. Dionysios I. 405-367 BC. Æ Drachm (30mm, 30.52 g). Struck circa 395-367 BC. Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet / Sea-star between two dolphins. Boehringer, Dionysios pl. 39, 44; CNS II pg. 111, 62; SNG ANS 454. Good VF, dark brown patina, some light smoothing in fields, traces on an undertype.. Unusually well struck for this issue.
