143, Lot: 84. Estimate $100.
Sold for $172. This amount does not include the buyer’s fee.

CYPRUS, Salamis?. Pnytagoras? Circa 351-332 BC. AR Hemiobol (7mm, 0.24 g). Turreted female head right / Monogram, with caduceus to right. Unlisted in the major references. VF, slight roughness.

The coins of Salamis do feature turreted portraits of Aphrodite, but other than that and the possibility of rendering the monogram as PN, there is little to confirm the identification of this coin.
