KINGS of MACEDON. Philip V. 221-179 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.85 g, 11h). Pella or Amphipolis mint; Zoilos, magistrate. Struck circa 211-197 BC. Helmeted head of the hero Perseus left, harpa over shoulder, in boss of a Macedonian shield / Club; monogram above and below; all within oak wreath, thunderbolt to left. Mamroth, Philip 13-14 var. (extra monogram below); SNG München -; SNG Alpha Bank -. Near EF, toned. Rare variety.
