Dies signed by the artist Th-. Helmeted head of Athena right; TH behind neck guard / Warrior on horseback right, wearing petasos, holding mace over shoulder; TH in exergue . Lavva 82 (V42/R47); SNG Copenhagen 220; SNG Lockett 1604 (same dies); SNG Ashmolean 3920 (same dies). EF, lightly toned around devices, small scrape on horse’s leg. Struck from dies of superb style. Among the earliest drachms of Pharsalos.
