SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos IV Philopator. 187-175 BC. AR Drachm (4.11 g, 9h). Uncertain mint in northern Media (Rhagai?). Diademed head right / Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer and inner left. SNG Spaer 943-944 (Ekbatana). Good VF, toned. Good metal and die state for issue.

All of Seleukos’ coinage with the this inner left control monogram have been reassigned to an uncertain mint in northern Media (perhaps Rhagai) in the forthcoming Seleucid Coins, part 2.
