PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy VI Philometor. First reign, 180-164 BC. Æ Hemidrachm (23mm, 11.78 g, 11h). Salamis mint. Struck under regency of Eulaios, circa 176-170 BC. Diademed head of Zeus-Ammon right / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; lotus to left, EUL between legs. Svoronos 1399-1401; Weiser 153-154; SNG Copenhagen 294-295. EF, dark brown surfaces, area of minor roughness on reverse. Exceptional for issue.
