SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Gabala. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (13.50 g, 11h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Draped bust of Tyche right, wearing mural crown, thyrsus before; all set on eagle standing right, head left, with wings displayed, holding thunderbolt in beak. Unpublished, but cf. Prieur 1089 (for obv.). Good VF, light porosity, reverse slightly double struck. Unique.
