Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Cistophorus (10.85 g, 12h). Laodicea mint. Struck after AD 128. Bare head right / Zeus Laodiceus standing left, holding eagle and scepter. RIC II 497; Metcalf, Cistophori, type 56, 270 (O5/R14); RSC 275. Good VF, toned. Overstruck on an uncertain cistophorus of Augustus.
