Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (3.50 g, 1h). Struck AD 202. Laureate head right / COS II P P, front view of the triumphal arch of Septimius Severus of four columns and three arches. RIC IV 259 var. (COS III P P); RSC 104 var. (same). Good VF, gray and gold toning, green deposit on edge. Rare reverse type, apparently unpublished with COS II reverse.
