Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. AR Denarius (2.90 g, 11h). Struck AD 232. Laureate and draped bust right / Mars advancing right, holding spear and shield. RIC IV 246; RSC 161. FDC, lustrous. Perfectly centered and boldly struck from fresh dies, full borders of dots on both sides. Excellent silver quality.
