Justinian II, with Tiberius. Second reign, 705-711. Æ Follis (2.94 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Dated RY 20 (705). Half-length figures of Justinian and Tiberius facing, holding between themselves patriarchal cross set on globe inscribed PAX / Large M; cross above, date across field; A//CON. DOC II 12a; MIB III 43; SB 1428. VF, green patina, areas of light encrustation.
From the Henry Chitwood Collection.
While all these folles are dated RY 20, this date was certainly immobilized, as the folles must have been struck throughout his second reign.
