King standing facing in ship; ornaments -11-11-, ropes 3/3, quatrefoils 3/4. lis 3; E’s broken in legend, saltire stops, double A in FRANC / Ornate cross with lis at ends and small E in center, crowned lions in quarters; all within tressure of eight arches; im: cross pattée, small annulet stops, unbroken C and E, small lis by lion in 2nd quarter. Lawrence dies AQ/7-8; Schneider 37-38 var. (Gg reverse; same obv. die); North 1173/1183; SCBC 1489/1490. Near EF, a few minor marks on edge. Well struck. Rare.
