THRACE, Kardia. Circa 350-309 BC. Æ 20mm (6.29 g). Three-quarter facing head of Persephone, turned slightly left, wearing triple-pendant earrings and necklace / Lion standing left, head reverted; star before, kernel of grain in exergue. BMC Thrace pg. 190, 11; SNG Copenhagen 866; Lindgren II 860 (this coin). VF, attractive brown patina with some red encrustation on the reverse.
