THESSALY, Pharsalos. Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. Æ 21mm (8.06 g). Three-quarter facing head of Athena, head turned left, wearing triple crested helmet; IP and spear left, shield right / Warrior on horseback right, wearing petasos, holding mace overhead; behind walks a foot soldier holding a mace over shoulder. Lavva 329 (V171/R235); Rogers 505; SNG Copenhagen 232 (same dies). Near VF, dark greenish-brown patina with some earthen highlights.
