Basil II, with Constantine VIII. 976-2025. Æ 23 mm (11.78 g, 12h). Cherson mint. Large B on exergual line between K-W / Cross on steps between pellets. Anokhin 445; DOC III 19 (Basil I); SB 1717 (Basil I). Near VF for type, encrusted green patina. Heavier than other known specimens, which rarely exceed 10 grams.
