BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Pantaleon. Circa 185-180 BC. Æ Square Unit (22mm, 12.04 g). Panther standing right / Indian goddess to left. Bopearachchi Série 6; SNG ANS 265; MIG 161. VF, brown patina.

Although the panther is given as the reverse type in the references, in all other cases the side with the Kharosthi legend is identified as the reverse. In addition, the first issues of Indian punch-marked coins always have the type in an incuse square. Later, when two-sided coinage begins, one side has the incuse, the other side is plain. It is likely that the incuse square is supposed to represent the obverse.
