CILICIA, Tarsos. Datames. Satrap of Cilicia and Cappadocia, 384-361/0 BC. AR Stater (22mm, 10.01 g). Baaltars seated right, torso facing; holding grain ear and grape-bunch in left hand, eagle-tipped sceptre in right arm; mouse below throne, thymiaterion to right; all within crenelated wall / Ana, nude, facing Datames; both have their right arms raised; between them, thymiaterion; all within square square border within linear border. SNG Levante 83 var. (no mouse); SNG France 291 var. (same); SNG von Aulock 5943 var. (same); Jameson 1615 var. (inscription for Ana). Good VF, light cleaning scratches. Very rare and this variety unpublished.
