Trebonianus Gallus. AD 251-253. Æ Sestertius (27mm, 16.82 g). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Statue of Juno seated facing, holding sceptre within round-domed, distyle temple. RIC IV 110a var. (peacock); Cohen 50; Banti 14. VF, brown patina, reverse a little rough, two small flan splits.
RIC 110a describes the reverse as having a peacock by the side of Juno; however, no illustrated specimen of the two column type show a peacock. The peacock seems to be a part of the design of the four column type only.
