BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 400-325 BC. AR Nomos (7.80 g, 6h). Head of Hera Lakinia facing slightly right, wearing necklace and stephane decorated with central palmette flanked by two griffins; D to right / [KR]O[TW], young Herakles, nude, holding cup in extended right hand, reclining left on lion skin draped over rock; bow and club above, MD above arm, tripod to left. Attianese 141; HN Italy 2162 corr.; SNG ANS 382 (same obv. die); SNG Lloyd -; SNG Copenhagen 1800; SNG Lockett 629. VF, toned, minor flan flaw on nose, die breaks on reverse.
