The nymph Messana, holding kentron in right hand, reins in both, driving slow biga of mules left; in exergue, two dolphins confronted / MESSANIWN, hare springing left; above, dove flying left; grain ear below. Caltabiano 620 (D220/R246); SNG ANS 378 (same obv. die); SNG Lloyd 1105 (same obv. die); SNG Fitzwilliam 1079 (same dies); Rizzo pl. 27, 5 (same dies). EF, toned, slight weakness in spots, thin die break on reverse.
