CARTHAGE. Circa 300 BC. AR Shekel (7.54 g, 11h). Head of Tanit left, wearing grain-ear wreath, single-pendant earring, and necklace with pendants / Horse standing right, head left, in front of palm tree; star to right. MAA 36 variant; Müller, Afrique 108; SNG Copenhagen 141 (same dies); Gulbenkian 383. Superb EF, light iridescent toning. Well centered and struck. An outstanding example.
