MACEDON, Terone. Circa 490-480 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.82 g). T-E across central field, amphora; ivy leaf and grape bunch hanging from each handle, grape bunch hanging from pearled base of neck / Quadripartite incuse square. Hardwick group II, pl. 29, 5; AMNG III/2, 4; SNG ANS 741. Good VF, lightly toned, slight roughness on reverse, light cleaning marks on obverse. Very rare.
