BOEOTIA, Tanagra. 457-448 BC. AR Stater (11.95 g). Boeotian shield, rim divided into twelve compartments / Forepart of horse left; T-A across upper field; all within incuse square. BCD Boiotia 257 (same rev. die); Head, Boeotia -; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 24, pl. X, 2; Traité III 339, pl. CCIV, 4 (same dies). Good VF, toned, granular surfaces. Very rare.
