CYCLADES, Naxos. Late 3rd-mid 2nd century BC. AR Didrachm (7.77 g, 1h). Nikos, magistrate. Head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath / NAXI, garlanded crater; NIKOS to left, filleted thyrsos to right. Nicolet-Pierre, Cratérophores 7-8 (drachms with this magistrate); cf. SNG Copenhagen 710; BMC -. EF, attractive gray toning with golden hues around the devices. Possibly unique didrachm with this magistrate.
