TROAS, Abydos. Circa 480-450 BC. AR Drachm (5.16 g, 9h). ABUD-HNON (Ns retrograde), eagle standing left / Facing gorgoneion; A-B above; all within incuse square. SNG München 3 = Traité II 2442 = MG 155a; SNG Copenhagen 3 var. (no A-B); SNG von Aulock 7532 var. (same). Good VF, dark iridescent toning. Very rare type, second known of variety with A-B on reverse.
