IONIA, Klazomenai. Circa 386-301 BC. AR Drachm (4.02 g, 6h). Mandronax, magistrate. Head of Apollo facing slightly left, wearing laurel wreath / KL-A, swan standing left, wings spread; MANDRWNA[X] to left. SNG Copenhagen -; SNG München -; cf. BMC 26 (hemidrachm); SNG Lockett 2792 (same dies); Traité II 1998. Good VF, dark iridescent toning. Exceptional metal for issue. Rare.
