PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy V Epiphanes. 205-180 BC. Æ Diobol (25mm, 16.13 g, 12h). Kyrene mint. Conjoined draped busts right of Apollo, laureate, and Artemis, wearing stephane / BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck. Svoronos 1137 (Ptolemy IV); Weiser -; SNG Copenhagen 454 (2nd century). Good VF, attractive brown surfaces. Extremely rare.

Although no example was present in the Köln collection, Weiser reattributed this series to Ptolemy V (cf. Weiser 102-106).
