Anonymous. 225-212 BC. AR Didrachm or Quadrigatus (6.69 g, 7h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus; slight L truncation / ROMA incuse on raised tablet in exergue, Jupiter, holding thunderbolt in right hand and scepter in left, in fast quadriga driven right by Victory. Crawford 28/3; Hersh, Quadrigatus -; Sydenham 64; cf. Kestner 90-95; cf. BMCRR Romano-Campanian 78; RSC 23. Good VF, light gray and iridescent toning. Artistic style.
